BOTH SIDES SPEAK - the School and the C of E both state their cases on 19th December 2006 on icliverpool.co.uk. In true C of E style, they don't actually get round to mentioning the Blue Coat until the last paragraph!
THE PUPILS ARE REVOLTING - but in the nicest sense of the word - from icliverpool.co.uk on 28th December
RADIO 4's "TODAY" programme featured a five-minute interview on New Year's Day with the confident and well-informed Chris Hallows (Chairman of the Board of Governors) and a nervous, evasive Rt Rev David Jennings (Bishop of Warrington). Click the "play" button under the arrow to hear it.
THE CHURCH TIMES ("The World's leading Anglican weekly newspaper") describes the Radio 4 interview as a "spectacular own goal" by Rt Rev David Jennings.
